Clinker-tiles of water absorbability 0,5%<E<3% - Group BI – UGL have parameters pursuant to the norm PN- EN 14411 appendix H. These tiles may be used outside and inside residential buildings and with public utilities, excluding places situated in areas of traffic intensity, as a lining of outdoor stairs and indoor terraces, corridors, window boards, building facades and lining of fences. Clinker is resistant to binding, small water absorbability, it is resistant to changeable weather conditions that guarantee frost-resistance. Whereas frost-resistance gives the possibility to estimate inviolability of the product in time, i.e. preserving its features.
However it must be remembered not to remove snow or ice from their surface by hitting with a sharp tool, as doing so we may damage the surface of the clinker. Clinker products are skid- proof.
In order to keep the tiles in a good technical condition the following points must be considered:
· preparing the ground
· selection of suitable tiles
· materials needed to gluing and welding
· proper performance, pursuant to the newest constructional art
Marks on packages- product identification
· Date of production (day, month, year)
· Number of the sorter
· Name of the pattern (label with the bar code)
· Genre
· Measurement
The tiles have a measurement tolerance pursuant to the norm PN- EN 14411 appendix H. Clinker tiles may have various hues which result from production technology. The occurrence of slight hue differences in comparison with the pattern is acceptable.
